: Electronics Technician

IK Trax are looking for a full time Electronic Technician to join our team in Aberdeen.

Job Summary:

The Electronics Technician will be responsible for testing, assembling and troubleshooting PCB assemblies. Working within the Production Department team, you will ensure that work is carried out to the company quality standards and on time. This position will suit a person who is able work on their own initiative and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities:

Build and test PCB assembles to scheduled build times and customer demand. Assist in the final build of complete unit assemblies Responsible for delivering your set objectives & to report progress on the delivery of these as agreed with your supervisor. Propose solutions for the improvement of production efficiency and product improvement. Maintain the upkeep of the 5S standards in the workshops & the continual improvement of them.

Electronic assembly experience Electronic circuit fault finding Solder surface mount components Excellent attention to detail Work well as part of a team Excellent communication skills Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings preferred Ability to use MS Word and Excel
