Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic components and assembly processes. This role involves assembling and testing electronic devices, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications. The successful applicant will work closely with engineers and other team members to contribute to the efficient production of high-quality electronics.

Duties

Assemble electronic components using hand tools and power tools, following detailed instructions and schematics. Work with surface mount technology (SMT) to assemble circuit boards and other electronic devices. Conduct tests on assembled products to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly process, including mechanical or electrical faults. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and product quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in electronic assembly or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly in the use of hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electronic systems is advantageous. It would be an advantage if you have technical experience for PCB fault finding. Understanding of electrical principles and surface mount technology is essential. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to follow complex instructions accurately. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
