As our Electronic Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our engineering and R&D teams. You will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting sophisticated electronic devices and supporting the day-to-day operations of our small production lab.

Duties
Develop, and test electronic circuits and systems to meet specified requirements.
Utilise hand tools and machinery for the assembly and repair of electronic components.
Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on computer hardware and networking systems.
Maintain accurate documentation of design processes, schematics, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic systems into larger projects.
Provide support for equipment repair and maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electronics technology.
Maintain an organised, safe, and well-stocked lab environment.
Support engineers in developing prototypes and implementing improvements.
Handle inventory and basic documentation related to manufacturing processes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
Qualifications
A degree in Engineering (ideally Electrinics) or a related field is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
Experience with computer networking, including setup and configuration of network devices.
Proficiency in using hand tools for assembly and repair tasks.
Familiarity with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Understanding of ESD-safe practices.
