Job Summary


NPE is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities



PCB Repair and Maintenance:

Expertly solder and rework

PCB boards

using advanced repair techniques. Perform repair services on various PCB types, including single-phase and three-phase circuits. Skilled in the repair and service of single-phase and three-phase circuit boards.

Technical Troubleshooting:

Read, interpret, and translate PCB diagrams and schematics for effective troubleshooting and repair. Diagnose and resolve issues at the component level to ensure equipment functionality.

Component Knowledge:

Utilise in-depth knowledge of electronic components such as SMT/SMD, PTH, power MOSFETs, IGBTs, and thyristors.

Comprehensive experience in repairing and servicing switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), both single-phase and three-phase, as well as other high-voltage PCB boards.

Repair and service switch-mode power supplies (SMPS) and other high-voltage PCB boards. Work closely with team members to support project goals. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.

Role Description



This is a full-time on-site role for an Electronic Engineering Technician. The technician will be responsible for performing various tasks related to electronic engineering, including :

Qualifications



Eligibility:

Must be a UK resident with a valid work permit.

Education:

Degree or certification in Electronic Engineering (Diploma of Higher Education preferred).

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in electronic repair, preferably within the industrial electronics sector.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Electronic Engineering. Proficient with test equipment and conducting tests on electronic systems.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred:

Full UK driver's license.

Compensation



Salary:

27,000.00 - 30,000.00 per year

Additional Pay:

Performance bonus opportunities

Work Schedule



Hours:

Monday to Friday,,{ 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM]

Location:

On-site at our facility in Newcastle Upon Tyne
