About the role:



We are looking for someone with a thorough understanding of electronics, ideally with experience in electronic circuit/PCB design as a test engineer. We would not be strict on the following criteria, as we believe that a willing attitude is far more important than knowledge alone.

Responsibilities of the role:



Oversee internal engineering projects for test equipment and interfacing (ideally both hardware and software). This would include creating wiring schematics and assisting with the build of an interface.

Perform equipment repairs on specialist test equipment

PCB design and electronic circuit design for both analogue & digital

Assist the sales team with technical knowledge.

To deliver technical expertise in order to solve customers problems by phone, remote support or site visit.

Experience & Skills:



Proven knowledge of electrical and electronic systems

Ideally, a test engineering or test equipment design background

Understanding and appreciation of both digital and analogue electronic disciplines.

Hands-on electrical and mechanical build experience

Familiarity of 3D printing and basic CAD design

Good understanding of single and three phase electrical practices

Communication - ability to communicate orally and in writing using up-to-date electronic means, in a manner appropriate to the customer base.

Leadership - being able to motivate and encourage others, whilst taking the lead, and also willing to be led and directed.

Numeracy - competence and understanding of numerical data, statistics and graphs, Excel, drawing packages etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 36,000.00-48,000.00 per year
