Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. The work will involve test, fault finding and repair of pcb's as well as other electrical circuitry, including finished products such as Airfield Light fittings, Constant Current Regulators and other Airfield Lighting products. Updating of pcb parts lists to specify alternative equivalent components when the originally specified parts are not available. Ability to use pcb CAD software (ideally Proteus) to modify pcb layouts. There is a possible requirement for some site work at UK or international airports if the candidate has an aptitude for this type of work.

Test and repair of electrical and electronic assemblies Production of test rigs Filling out test certificates, non conformance documents etc Providing technical assistance to other departments

xperience

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role Able to fault find and repair to pcb component level working with: logic circuits, operational amplifiers, comparators, microcontrollers, thyristor and transistor circuitry (preferably including IGBT's), relay and contactor circuits Experience with SM pcb's, including soldering of SM components Fully conversant in the use of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, bench power supplies etc Ability to use pcb CAD software
