We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electroplater to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying electrochemical coatings to various components, ensuring high-quality finishes in accordance with industry standards. Responsibilities
Prepare components and surfaces for electroplating processes, including cleaning and masking as necessary.
Operate electroplating equipment following established procedures to ensure consistent quality.
Monitor the electroplating process, adjusting parameters to achieve desired coating thickness and finish.
Handle materials safely during loading, unloading, and transportation within the warehouse using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
Maintain accurate records of process parameters and completed work using warehouse management systems.
Conduct routine inspections of finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading materials and products.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations, including the proper handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow efficiency and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
Requirements
Previous experience in warehouse operations, materials handling, or construction environments is preferred.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and shipping & receiving procedures.
Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating electroplating equipment and general maintenance tasks.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling activities.
Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification is advantageous.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
Good understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling and industrial processes.
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required.
