Overview:

We are looking for an experienced or a trainee electroplater to join our team to take over from one of our beloved platers who is stepping down.

The successful candidate will be responsible for applying metal coatings to various components using electroplating techniques.

Duties:

Perform electroplating processes to coat metal parts with various metals. Prepare metal surfaces for plating by cleaning, and degreasing. Operate and maintain electroplating equipment and machinery. Monitor plating process parameters to ensure quality and efficiency. Inspect plated components for adherence to specifications and quality standards. Adhere to health and safety guidelines while handling chemicals and operating machinery.
We require someone who is willing to learn, prior experience is not needed as you will be under the guidance of one of our top platers who can show and teach you everything you need to know about the industry. However if you have previous experience in this industry or one similar this would be a great bonus but no necessary.

Please only apply if you are comfortable and able to carry out manual handling tasks, some of the work we get various hugely in size and weight and we need to make sure you can safely carry out these tasks.

As our plater will be stepping back soon and we require someone to replace their hours, this job will need to commence mid-late august to give you plenty of time to learn from him before he departs, therefore please only apply if you are able to start soon/immediately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.50-14.00 per hour
