Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented E-Liquid Quality Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support quality assurance processes by ensuring our e-liquid products meet strict safety and quality standards. Your proactive approach will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and uphold our reputation for excellence in product quality.
Responsibilities
Develop, execute and maintain standardized liquid testing protocols (organoleptic, physical, chemical, comparative) for e-liquids.
Conduct regular sampling and testing of production batches to ensure consistency and compliance with internal specifications and regulatory requirements.
Analyze test data and identify trends, deviations, and quality issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.
Establish and maintain reference standard samples and test matrices across devices, coil resistances, VG/PG ratios, and nicotine formulations.
Support regulatory compliance testing and reporting, including product safety, labelling, and documentation.
Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) records and SOPs for liquid testing and inspection.
Participate in internal audits and supplier quality assessments as needed to support compliance objectives
Produce detailed quality reports, trends analyses, and deviation investigations with recommendations.
Collaborate with R&D and production to communicate test findings and support product improvements and stability assessments.
Support training for production and QC personnel on liquid testing standards and quality protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience in quality control/testing roles, preferably in consumer products, laboratory testing, or regulated industries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting complex data.
Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or equivalent) and documentation standards.
Experience with lab testing techniques and equipment relevant to liquid products.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
High attention to detail and ability to identify subtle deviations from specifications.
Strong time management and organizational skills, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Desirable but not essential!
Quality certifications such as Six Sigma, CQE, PCQI, IRCA or similar.
Experience with electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) or related regulated consumer products.
Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or similar quality data platforms.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable but not essential!
