Job Description

We are an established SME food manufacturing business based in Nantwich, Cheshire, seeking an enthusiastic and reliable liquid blending assistant to join our team in the blending department.

Job Specification:

The Liquid Blending Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day Blending operations whilst adhering to quality and food safety standards

Key Responsibilities

Confirm the measurement of ingredients and/or products for the blending process

Process ingredients according to the specific formulation

Operate machines to blend/mix ingredients

Conduct in-process analysis as needed

Ensure health and safety protocols, as well as GMP standards, are adhered to.

Support continuous improvement initiatives

Adhere to standard operating procedures for blending

Adhere to standard operating procedures for sanitising

Record operational and production data on specified forms

Clean and maintain equipment, hoses, vessels etc... used for the blending process

Offload, move and dispense materials and/or liquid as necessary

Monitor production and equipment to ensure the safety and efficiency of the operation

Open valves to drain residue from mixers and storage tanks

Assist in identifying and recommending solutions to overcome issues arising to meet production requirements and address operational risks

Assist in monitoring quality standards of production

To carry out all reasonable instructions as directed by the Operations Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.62 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
