cognitive, technical, and situational drills
that challenge and improve players in real time to demonstrate the individual skills development from a range of skills available within the club and sourced and agreed with the manager
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver
individual skill development programmes
that are both proven and forward-thinking
Work closely with elite-level youth players, focusing on
technique, movement, decision-making, and game intelligence but developing individual skills
Use
cognitive training tools
and skill acquisition models to enhance player adaptability and awareness
Collaborate on video analysis, session feedback, and personalised performance plans
Contribute ideas to the
club innovation model
, helping us shape a unique talent development ecosystem
Be willing to demonstrate drills and methods personally to showcase effectiveness
What We're Looking For:
Proven background in football (played at a competitive or professional level)
FA Coaching Qualifications (UEFA B and above)
A passion for
youth development
and player-centred learning
Knowledge of
cognitive development
, biomechanics, and modern skill acquisition approaches and using AI to create individualise programme(desirable but not essential if you're willing to learn)
Strong interpersonal skills -- able to motivate, mentor, and build confidence in players
Open to trial: this role starts with a
1-week practical assessment
