Role Overview

We are seeking experienced and motivated

Elite Tumbling/Gymnastics Coaches

to join our team. The successful candidates will have a proven track record of working with competitive gymnasts, particularly in tumbling and high-level gymnastics. You will play a key role in shaping training programmes, preparing athletes for competition, and inspiring gymnasts to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-performance training sessions for elite tumblers and gymnasts. Develop and implement progressive programmes that support athletes' physical and technical development. Coach advanced skills in tumbling, floor, and other apparatus (depending on qualification). Prepare athletes for competitions at regional, national, and international level. Ensure safe practice, risk management, and safeguarding are always prioritised. Work closely with the coaching team to deliver a consistent and professional training pathway. Provide mentorship, motivation, and support for athletes to achieve both performance and personal goals. Assist with talent identification and progression from recreational to elite pathways.
Person Specification

Essential:



UKCC, IGA, BG Level 2 (minimum) in Tumbling or Artistic Gymnastics - Level 3+ desirable. Proven experience coaching competitive/elite-level gymnasts. Strong technical knowledge of advanced tumbling and gymnastics skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Knowledge of safeguarding, athlete welfare, and injury prevention. A passion for gymnastics and helping athletes achieve excellence.

Desirable:



Level 3/4 coaching qualification or international equivalent. Experience preparing athletes for national squads, competitions, or high-performance programmes. First Aid, Safeguarding, and DBS certification. Choreography or competition judging experience.
