Responsibilities



As a

Solicitor

you'll be responsible for:

Managing a caseload of Employers' Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL), and complex Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims. Providing expert legal advice on liability, quantum, medical evidence, and causation issues. Handling litigation for cases under Part 7 and Part 8 proceedings, ensuring smooth progression to settlement or trial. Drafting complex schedules of loss, assessing past and future losses with precision. Collaborating closely with clients, colleagues, and third parties to achieve the best outcomes.
This is a

full-time, office-based role in Newcastle

with a supportive and highly skilled team dedicated to delivering results.

Who We're Looking For



We're seeking a talented, ambitious, and client-focused legal professional with a passion for high-value and complex personal injury claims. You'll need:

Admission to Solicitors roll or equivalent. Experience or comprehensive knowledge of EL, PL, and RTA cases with supervision. A strong understanding of medical evidence, causation issues, and quantum assessments. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A team-oriented approach, with flexibility and adaptability. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines effectively. Proficiency in case management systems (Proclaim experience is a plus!).

Desirable Skills



Up to 3 years PQE in personal injury law.
