The Email & Nurture Specialist will design, implement and optimise email marketing and nurture streams across our B2B audiences. This role is integral to driving engagement, nurturing leads generated by both digital and telemarketing channels, and supporting our lead-gen and business development teams.
Key responsibilities:
Plan and build end-to-end automated email journeys (from lead capture through to conversion) aligned to buyer personas and lifecycle stages.
Create, schedule and send newsletters, promotional campaigns, triggered communications (e.g., follow-up, abandonment, milestone emails).
Segment email lists in collaboration with the Data Coordinator; tailor messaging and creative to ensure relevance and engagement.
Monitor and analyse email performance metrics (open rates, click-through, conversion, deliverability); continuously optimise.
Partner with Content & Copy Lead and Designer for email creative, ensuring alignment of messaging, branding and tone.
Maintain and enforce email best practice, GDPR/compliance, list hygiene and deliverability standards.
Report on nurture stream performance and contribute insight for broader marketing strategy.
Person specification:
Essential:
Experience (2 years or more) in email marketing in a B2B environment, including automated journeys and campaign management.
Strong working knowledge of email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, ActiveCampaign) and CRM integration.
Good analytical skills: comfortable interpreting campaign metrics and making recommendations.
Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
Highly organised, with ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
Desirable:
Experience with marketing automation and CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
Knowledge of lead scoring, attribution modelling and integration with nurture streams.
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email template tweaks.
Previous work in construction, industrial B2B or technical services environment.
