As an Junior Email Marketing Specialist, you will support the planning, setup, and optimisation of campaigns that deliver real results for our clients. Working under the guidance of the CRM & Email Marketing Manager and senior team members, you will build and test campaigns across multiple platforms, including Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify Email, and Dotdigital, while learning how to identify opportunities for improving customer journeys.
You will gain practical, hands-on experience in campaign execution, automation, reporting, and quality assurance while learning to apply our internal audit protocols to spot areas for improvement and strengthen campaign performance. Role Expectations
Key Responsibilities
Build, test, and deploy client email campaigns across multiple ESPs (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Shopify Email, Dotdigital, etc.).
Follow structured briefs to ensure accurate campaign setup, tracking, and delivery.
Run pre-send QA checks such as links, tracking, rendering, and accessibility before every campaign.
Assist with automation and flow setup, including welcome sequences, cart abandonment, and re-engagement journeys.
Maintain list hygiene, data accuracy, and compliance with GDPR, PECR, and CAN-SPAM.
Record and monitor campaign results, highlighting trends or issues.
Follow internal audit protocols to identify potential optimisations or missed opportunities.
Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure visual and brand consistency. Keep documentation, test logs, and campaign checklists up to date within project management tools such as Monday.com.
Ongoing Objectives
Develop deep knowledge of each email platform and its features.
Deliver assigned tasks accurately, on time, and to brief.
Demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning automation, segmentation, and personalisation best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement by documenting findings from internal audits.
Maintain high QA standards and clear communication within the team.
