Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our busy production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating our Tajima embroidery machines as well as our heat press and printers to produce high-quality products efficiently and safely. Prior experience in embroidery or vinyl transfer printing is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their skills within a dynamic industrial environment.

Duties



Set up, operate, and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to prevent breakdowns. Follow safety protocols and ensure the workspace remains clean and organised. Adjust machine settings as necessary to meet production specifications. Document production data accurately and report any malfunctions or issues promptly. Assist in loading and unloading materials and incoming stock, ensuring smooth workflow within the production area. Monitor consumables and report to the administration team when replacement items are needed. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and uphold quality standards.

Skills



We're looking for a hard working, team player who will fit into our small but friendly team producing high quality products for our well established customer base. We work hard, but also enjoy down time and will arrange company events such as the Alton Towers 5K run and pizza lunches for special events. Previous experience in manufacturing environments is preferred. Existing embroidery or print skills would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects or irregularities in products. Good organisational skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely. Basic mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn machine maintenance procedures. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting. Excellent safety awareness and adherence to health and safety regulations. Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
