Role Overview
The HR Operations Service Centre function is critical to the operation of HR and integral to the effective support of employee lifecycle processes. Working closely with the regional HR teams to ensure core HR processes are executed efficiently and accurately, and that employee questions are handled correctly.
Role ResponsibilitiesRespond to all written reference requests relating to the employment of current and former employees including employment, mortgage/rental, visa applications and business trip requests, and regional salary certificate letters. Where necessary, working with Legal and Employee Relations to provide efficient SMCR regulatory reference requests within the required deadlines. Manage the EMEA Contingent Workers JMSL process and complete in a timely manner, ensuring the relevant approvals and documentation have been obtain and working with relevant teams to sure workers are offboarded from the HRIS system (Workday) on or before their end date. Support the probation process including preparing passed, extended or failed probation letters, updating outcomes on the HRIS system (Workday) and notifying relevant teams where needed. Prepare letters relating to contractual changes (e.g. job changes, salary increases etc.) or family friendly requests, processing on the HRIS system (Workday) to notify the relevant teams. Assist with absence management process including uploading medical certificates to the HRIS system (Workday) and updating HR records with long term sickness absence plans. Support the monthly payroll process to ensure relevant instructions are passed to Payroll and payments are included on the EIB before the monthly deadline. Transact high volumes of inputs and changes to the HR system (Workday) on a daily basis.
