Role Summary




As EMEA People Lead, you'll oversee People Operations and Partnering across the region -- balancing hands-on delivery with strategic leadership. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you'll lead a regional team of three, and partner closely with senior leaders particularly in Engineering, Product and Central Functions.


You'll play a key role in shaping and executing People initiatives that enable growth, drive performance, and foster engagement, while ensuring alignment with our global People strategy and company pillars -- Customer Focus, Tech-Led Innovation, and Exceptional People.

Key Responsibilities:



Leadership & Strategy

Lead, coach, and develop the EMEA People team, ensuring high performance and operational excellence. Partner with the CPO to deliver the global People Strategy and align with regional business goals. Act as trusted advisor to senior leaders, particularly in Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams. Drive continuous improvement across People processes, systems, and practices. Partner with the AMER People Lead to ensure global consistency and knowledge sharing.
People Partnering & Operations

Partner with business leaders to anticipate workforce needs and design proactive People solutions. Lead workforce planning, performance, and engagement initiatives across EMEA. Ensure compliance and operational excellence across all employment types and jurisdictions. Oversee accurate payroll, HR operations, and employee lifecycle activities (onboarding through offboarding). Serve as point of escalation for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes.
Culture, Engagement & Development

Champion a high-performance, inclusive culture grounded in trust, collaboration, and accountability. Lead engagement, wellbeing, and DEI&B initiatives, ensuring insights translate into action. Embed effective performance management practices and partner with L&D to deliver targeted development programmes. Support progression and growth through the company's Career Architecture and Compass frameworks.

Requirements



Proven experience in a senior HR or People Partnering role within a multi-country or regional remit. Strong background supporting Engineering and Product functions is essential. Demonstrated experience leading a People team -- balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery. Deep understanding of employment law and employee relations in Europe particularly in the UK and Portugal. Strong business acumen with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and translate business strategy into People solutions. Passion for fostering inclusive, high-performing teams and embedding company culture across regions.
