This role will place you at the heart of one of our most dynamic growth regions, ensuring tax compliance across multiple countries whilst supporting our ongoing commercial success.

As a key part of the EMEA tax team, you'll collaborate closely with business partners on new commercial initiatives, become an integral part of the wider EMEA finance function, and work alongside our US tax team to support a seamless global tax operation. The role will act as a key regional tax contact, supporting day-to-day tax matters across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

Oversee UK and EMEA direct tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, working closely with external advisors, coordinating local filings, and supporting tax audits and authority queries as required. Manage withholding tax (WHT) and trade tax obligations across European jurisdictions, ensuring appropriate processes and controls are in place. Prepare and coordinate R&D tax credit claims for HMRC. Support the implementation and ongoing operation of the group's transfer pricing policies across EMEA, including coordination with the global tax team and external advisors. Manage tax provisioning and payment processes in the EMEA region, contributing to quarterly and annual global tax provisions for our US-listed group. Liaise with indirect tax specialists on VAT and other indirect tax matters impacting EMEA operations. Support tax-related projects, including compliance system rollouts, process improvements, and budget management. Provide tax input to the business on routine commercial matters and changes impacting the EMEA region.

Requirements

Several years of relevant tax experience, including responsibility for UK and broader European tax matters, ideally gained in a combination of practice and in-house tax or accounting experience. Strong knowledge of UK, European, and international tax regulations; exposure to indirect tax is a plus. Experience managing external advisors across multiple jurisdictions. Excellent organisational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail. Strong ability to partner with commercial and finance teams, translating complex tax matters into practical, actionable guidance. Comfortable operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment and working with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
