Key Responsibilities
Assess, treat and discharge patients presenting with
minor injuries and minor illness
Carry out clinical triage, ensuring safe and timely patient care
Prescribe medications (if qualified) and provide evidence-based management plans
Escalate or refer cases appropriately within the clinical team
Support the UTC team in delivering safe, effective urgent care services
Requirements
Registered Paramedic with HCPC
Emergency Care Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience
Competent in managing both
minor illness and injuries
Independent Prescribing qualification - desirable
Previous experience in UTC / Walk-in Centre / Urgent Care / A&E is highly desirable
Ability to work independently with strong clinical decision-making skills
