To support emergency food aid efforts during times of crisis -- such as severe weather, economic hardship, or natural disasters -- by helping distribute essential supplies and meals to individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver emergency food packages and bottled water to those affected by crisis situations.
Work collaboratively with local authorities, community groups, and shelters to identify people most in need of assistance.
Provide hands-on support at pop-up relief stations and emergency food banks.
Assist with the organisation and logistics of crisis response food drives, including packing, transportation, and distribution.
Maintain accurate records of distributions and report any safeguarding concerns in line with organisational procedures.
Person Specification:
Compassionate and community-focused, with a genuine desire to help vulnerable people.
Able to work flexibly and respond quickly in changing situations.
Confident working independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and a calm, approachable manner.
A full, clean driving licence (desirable but not essential).
