Role Purpose

We are seeking a Spanish speaking Job Aid Support Worker to provide tailored workplace support to a tutor with a visual impairment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in removing barriers to screen-based tasks, ensuring the tutor can carry out their role effectively and on an equal basis with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

Provide assistance with screen-based administrative and teaching tasks. Upload teaching materials to the organisation's online platform. Support the production of online content and teaching resources. Input marks into assessment grids and maintain accurate records. Ensure materials are accessible and organised in line with institutional requirements. Work collaboratively with the tutor to enable them to focus on teaching delivery. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies at all times.

Essential Requirements

Fluency in both

English and Spanish

(written and spoken). Strong IT and digital skills, with the ability to manage online platforms and digital resources. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively. Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion. Reliability, discretion, and professionalism.

Desirable Skills/Experience

Experience supporting staff or students with disabilities in an educational setting. Knowledge of accessibility tools and inclusive teaching practices. Familiarity with virtual learning environments (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, or similar).

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 weeks

Pay: 16.00-17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 per week
