It starts with our people, which is why we need an Emerging Talent (ET) Advisor to join our team. You will assume day to day ownership for the attraction and selection activities associated with the recruitment of top quality trainees for the firm. As well as being the primary contact for our relationships with universities and suppliers, you will work with Partners on all trainee recruitment and graduate attraction activity. You will provide advice and guidance on a number of recruitment, attraction and selection issues.



This role provides the opportunity to take on a front line, client facing role. The recruitment of our Trainees is a core strategic priority and you will be at the forefront of ensuring we attract the highest quality talent to the firm.



You'll be responsible for:



Recruitment



Overseeing the recruitment processes of the Training Contract and Vacation schemes e.g. screening, assessment centres, interviews. Working with the business/external suppliers to create appropriate assessment materials Training internal assessors/interviewers on relevant material e.g. Strengths Based Interviewing, unconscious bias etc Acting as key point of contact for assessors/interviewers with regards to any trainee recruitment decisions Overseeing the end-to-end process of the two annual Vacation schemes First point of contact for international Training Contract processes e.g. Dubai, KSA Acting as point of contact for all incoming trainees / vacation scheme joiners


Attraction



In conjunction with the Brand and Marketing team, devise and implement the Emerging Talent recruitment brand and associated collateral, including Social Media campaigns etc Advising on publications/external media for advertising opportunities Overseeing annual ET events, including campus, virtual and on site at BCLP offices Representing BCLP at events, acting as host and delivering presentations as required Identifying opportunities to reach new talent pools to target top quality trainees Partner with BCLP Campus Ambassadors


General



Provide hands-on support to junior team member during peak periods or absences, ensuring continuity and high-quality service delivery Overseeing the firm's adherence to recruitment guidelines as an employer and staying abreast of any changes that would affect the recruitment of trainees Acting as a key point of contact for candidates, Partners and wider BCLP colleagues on trainee recruitment matters Actively participating in strategic ET initiatives and identifying improvements to our talent attraction strategies Keeping up-to-date with external selection/assessment developments which may impact strategy, advising on changes to our approach, where necessary


Experience required:



Experience of working within an international law firm environment Demonstratable experience of working within a graduate recruitment focused role Experience in dealing with high volume recruitment In-depth knowledge of the legal graduate recruitment market
