Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced

Live-In Carer

to support a client in Sittingbourne on a

self-employed

or employed basis. This is a

long-term

placement, ideal for someone who is dedicated, proactive, and understands the importance of person-centred care.

What You'll Do:

As a live-in carer, you'll provide

24/7 support

(with 2 hours off per day) and help maintain the client's quality of life in the comfort of their home. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Personal Care

Assistance with washing, bathing, dressing, grooming Toileting and continence support Mobility assistance, including use of aids (hoists, wheelchairs, etc.)

Health and Medication

Administering or prompting medication as prescribed Monitoring wellbeing and reporting concerns Accompanying to GP/hospital appointments if needed

Companionship

Providing emotional support and friendly company Engaging in conversations, games, hobbies, or outings Reducing isolation and promoting mental wellbeing

Household Duties

housekeeping (cleaning, laundry, tidying) Meal preparation and cooking Shopping and errands (must drive) Managing household supplies

Night Support

Occasional night-time support or reassurance if the client wakes

Requirements:

Must have a car and valid driving licence

At least 1 year of live-in care experience

Up-to-date Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)

Good spoken and written English Empathetic, patient, and trustworthy Ability to work independently and use initiative

What's Included:

1,000 per week (self-employed) 50 weekly food allowance paid by the company Comfortable Double private room in the client's home 2-hour break each day Support from our care management team 24/7
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 1,000.00-1,050.00 per week
