Employee Relations (ER) Advisor
to join our People Operations team on a
12 month FTC.
About the Role
As an
ER Advisor
, you'll play a crucial role in supporting managers and employees across Hft, ensuring compliance with employment laws and promoting a positive work environment.
This is a home-based role with some travel as required
A full UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle, is essential for the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
Be the first point of contact for leaders and managers, guiding them through complex HR cases.
Risk assess ER issues, ensuring compliance with legislation and company policies.
Collaborate with the People Partners to upskill and train managers in handling ER matters.
Maintain and analyse ER case logs to identify trends and support proactive decision-making.
Stay updated with employment law changes, ensuring timely implementation.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as an ER Advisor or similar HR role, including leading ER investigations.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels.
Experience of handling large caseloads (20 cases plus at any one time) and conducting thorough and objective investigations.
CIPD Level 5 or 7 is desirable but not essential.
Social care sector experience would be a distinct advantage.
