An exciting role has become available as part of our newly structured operating model within People Services at Bidfood. Working in our employee relations team this role will be the first point of contact for ER queries and cases across the business. Our service provides people managers with the support they need when they need it and it is for that reason this role requires the ability to work at pace, be an excellent communicator, work as a team but also on your own, multitask and be flexible to the needs of the business.
The role will include: Triaging all ER matters that are sent into our single point of entry mailbox
Handling ER matters that are raised through our single point of entry phoneline
Assists with the development and updating of How to guides, scripts, FAQs and process procedures for ER matters as and when required.
Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping throughout all ER processes, this included our ER case log.
Responding to low level/ quick to answer queries
Provide ER support in formal meetings should the business require
Complete ER Letters not allocated to an ER advisor (invite letters, AWOL dismissal, Appeal invites, probation termination, Grievance invites, capability invites and suspension letters)
Coordinate an accurate case log of ER cases to provide data analytics to the business which drive decision making
Support ER Advisor case load during absence.
Support the ERP and AERP with the creation of monthly ER data packs
Support ER advisors with the collate on ET documents and preparation
appropriately escalate ER matters which are considered high risk to AERP and ERP.
Partake in Manager Assist Out of Hours Telephone Service on a rota basis (8pm-11pm)
There is the expectation that this role will cover core hours of 8am-8pm and for that reason we have two positions available 8-4pm and 12-8pm. This would be an ideal development role for someone who is working through their CIPD level 5 or has recently completed this and looking to specialise in employee relations.
