About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Employment Advisor to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. This hybrid position offers a blend of remote and on-site work, providing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our office and clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others find meaningful employment opportunities within the automotive sector and possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth interviews with job seekers to assess their skills, experience, and career goals within the automotive industry
  • Develop and maintain relationships with automotive employers to identify job opportunities and understand their hiring needs
  • Match qualified candidates with suitable job openings in the automotive sector
  • Provide career guidance, resume writing assistance, and interview preparation support to job seekers
  • Organise and facilitate job fairs, networking events, and workshops focused on the automotive industry
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, job placements, and employer relationships using our CRM system
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement effective job search strategies for clients
  • Stay informed about trends and developments in the automotive industry to provide relevant advice to clients and employers
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on employment topics to various stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to job placements and client satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Preferably a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • 2-5 years of work experience in employment counselling, recruitment, or a related field
  • Proficiency in interviewing techniques and best practices
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and its various career paths
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and CRM software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel occasionally for job fairs and employer visits
