Ready to provide hands-on legal guidance for our UK and Guernsey operations?

As an Employment Counsel - 12-month FTC, you'll be part of a small team, collaborating across the business to deliver legal advice on a wide range of employment law matters. You'll work across UK operations, Joint Venture businesses, and support offices in both the UK and Guernsey, bringing variety to your role and delivering meaningful legal support.

In this role, you'll guide the business through both contentious and non-contentious employment issues. You'll handle a broad array of topics, act as a go-to person for employment law and dispute resolution, and help maintain a seamless legal landscape, ensuring our teams receive consistent, high-quality support. Whether reviewing HR investigations, managing tribunal claims, or resolving disputes, your insight will help us navigate challenges with confidence and care.

You'll draft and negotiate settlement agreements, review contracts, policies, and consultancy agreements, and prepare shareholder resolutions and company paperwork. You'll also support our Professional Services team on regulatory matters involving the GOC and HCPC. Legal research, liaising with external advisors, and contributing to wider projects will round out your day-to-day activities.

We're looking for someone with solid employment law experience and who is a qualified solicitor, ideally in private practice or in-house. You'll need a strong working knowledge of UK employment law and a proactive, commercial mindset. Our legal team is highly visible across the business, so you'll be comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels, including senior leadership and the Board. You'll bring sharp insight and sound judgment, translating complex legal matters into practical, easy-to-understand guidance for colleagues across the business.

This role closes on 20th November 2025: however, we may close the advert sooner if we get inundated with high-quality applications. Apply now - you'll be glad you did.
