As an integral part of the Employment team, you will provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to our solicitors, assisting with a broad range of employment law matters for both employers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the Employment team.
Prepare, format, and proofread correspondence and legal documentation (including contracts, tribunal bundles, and witness statements).
Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate client appointments.
Handle telephone and email enquiries in a professional and confidential manner.
Open and close client files, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with clients, counsel, and external parties where required.
Assist with billing, time recording, and document management systems.
About You
Previous experience as a
Legal Secretary
, ideally within an
Employment Law
or
Litigation
department.
Excellent typing, IT, and document management skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems essential).
Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Professional, confident, and personable manner when dealing with clients and colleagues.
A team player with a proactive approach and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
