The

Employment Pathways Connector (Young People)

will work within the Enabling Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) team in Tower Hamlets. We are a small team with a big vision for young people in Tower Hamlets - we are ambitious for them.



Barnardo's support young people to be happier, healthier, safer and more hopeful. This role is key to these areas. We know that young people can achieve all 4 of these areas with the right support and guidance.



The

Employment Pathways Connector (Young People)

will connect young people and community partners, to generate opportunities for young people in Tower Hamlets to:


develop skills for work, access training and development opportunities gain work experience through placements get into volunteering get into apprenticeships get into paid work.

This role is about connecting young people to the right opportunity for them at the right time.

a champion for young people and empowers their ambitions for themselves experienced with working with young people with different backgrounds and needs able to build rapport and relationships to develop a partner network a confident and skilled communicator a team player organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise their time is task and finish led able to respond to changing workloads tenacious and resilient

This role is community based in and across Tower Hamlets, with elements of lone working and occasional home working.
