Employment Solicitor - Cardiff - Full-time - 55,000 per annum
We're seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a growing legal practice in Cardiff, taking a lead role in expanding their Employment Law services. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity ideal for someone with a commercial mindset and ambitions for leadership.
This is a rare opportunity to put your own stamp on a newly formed team and play a central role in shaping its direction. You'll work closely alongside the Managing Director to grow the division, with genuine scope for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
• Handle tribunal claims, redundancy processes, TUPE advice, and employment documentation
• Advise clients on HR issues and workplace disputes
• Develop new business through networking and professional partnerships
• Represent clients at hearings and negotiations
• Create and review contracts, handbooks, and internal policies
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a growth-focused culture
• Collaborate on marketing and business development initiatives
• Assist in setting long-term strategic goals for the Employment Law department
• Maintain excellent client service and compliance standards

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 3+ years PQE
• Strong background in both contentious and advisory Employment Law
• Proven ability to manage cases independently from instruction to resolution
• Confident in business development and professional networking
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior staff
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive for departmental growth
• Chance to be a leader in a newly formed team, working alongside the MD to grow the division
• Ideally able to attend the Cardiff office 4 days a week, with 1 day work from home

55,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
Cardiff, CF10 1EP - hybrid with 1 day work from home
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
