Delivery Programme - Connect to Work
Connect to Work is a new government-funded programme, part of the national Get Britain Working strategy. It is designed to support people with health conditions, disabilities, or complex barriers to employment to take up or stay in meaningful work.
In the North-East, the programme uses the evidence-based Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model, helping people move into the right job quickly, receive tailored support in the workplace, and build lasting careers.
Participation is voluntary and grounded in a person-centred approach, bringing health and employment services together to give people the joined-up support they need to thrive.
