As an Employment Tax Manager, you will play a key role within our fast-growing Employment Tax team, supporting the delivery of high-quality compliance and advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients. The role focuses on UK employment tax matters, including employment related securities, PAYE, NIC, benefits-in-kind, and off-payroll working.

Key Responsibilities





Manage and deliver employment tax compliance services for a wide-ranging client base, including PAYE health checks, benefits reporting (P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements), and the compliance aspects of the Construction Industry Scheme. Manage the employment related securities compliance process Draft technical advisory emails/reports for clients on employment tax matters, including but not limited to employment related securities, employment status, off-payroll working (IR35), termination payments, and benefits-in-kind structuring. Support senior management in providing strategic advice to clients, identifying risks, opportunities, and practical solutions in complex employment tax scenarios. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK employment tax legislation and HMRC guidance, proactively sharing insights with clients and colleagues. Assist with client meetings, presentations, and training sessions, building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposal writing, attending networking events, and helping seniors in the team identify new opportunities within the existing client portfolio. Support junior team members through coaching and technical guidance, promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Ensure work is delivered to the highest standard, adhering to regulatory requirements, firm policies, and agreed deadlines.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise





Previous experience in Employment taxes Employment related securities tax knowledge is desirable ATT qualified or equivalent Experience of dealing with HMRC Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience of using MS Excel to manipulate and analyse large amounts of data Experience of monthly payroll processing (desired but not essential) Organised and motivated A driven person who will take ownership of tasks and drive to completion A good team player
