Main duties will include:

Enabling and supporting clients with running of day to day lives. Assisting with cooking and meal preparation. Supporting clients with paperwork, financial administration and correspondence. Assistance with attending appointments and engagements. Aiding with food shopping (sometimes unattended by the client due to lack of mobility or energy). Supporting with studies and work. Day trips out. Enabling with all domestic tasks. This may include ironing, washing floors and other surfaces, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, changing bed sheets and ensuring the house is at a decent living standard. Support with activities. Medication prompting. Most important of all, companionship. Letting your client know they can trust you to help and support them, keeping them happy, comfortable and as independent as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: This role will involve clients in both Ottery St Mary and Exeter, with the aim of the position progressing to working predominantly in Ottery St Mary and Honiton.
