As an integral member of the Decarbonisation team, the Energy Officer will play a key role in helping Monmouthshire County Council respond to the Climate Emergency and work towards our net zero carbon ambitions.
Reporting to and working closely with the Decarbonisation Manager, the Energy Officer will work with wider colleagues and external providers to provide an energy efficiency and monitoring service to support the Council's wider decarbonisation initiatives. The proven technical, analytical, and communication skills you bring to the role will help the Authority identify and deliver innovative ways to save energy, money, and carbon emissions.

SALARY - IMPORTANT INFORMATION
: Salary would be pro rata if not working full time hours or 52 weeks per year.
i.e. 37 hours per week / 32.5 per week for School Teachers
