The objective of this role is to represent Evolve's interests with key stakeholders including the Department for Economy, Utility Regulator, CCNI, other government departments, network operators and gas suppliers.

• Supporting the continued development of broader strategic energy transition decisions, establishing an Evolve position and communicating clearly internally and externally.
• Collaborating with other network operators on energy strategy funded projects and leading on energy strategy projects when appropriate.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of decarbonisation policies and procedures.
• Define an Evolve position in consultation with internal process stakeholders and communicating it where necessary to internal policy stakeholders.
• Lead on Evolve's responses to key stakeholder energy transition requests e.g. Public consultations, Call for Evidence, Requests for Information.
• Stay informed about best practice for key energy strategy projects including attending conferences, reading industry publications, and collaborating with other professionals in the field.
• Engage with other areas of the business to communicate changes and input to strategic decision making.
• Present analysis and research relating to all areas of Energy Transition in Northern Ireland to the Evolve Senior Management

What you will need

• Knowledge of Northern Ireland energy industry
• Experience in a regulated environment
• A strong academic record
• Strong influencing and negotiating skills
• Strong numeric literacy with analytical skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Flexible approach to new challenges
