We are looking for a talented and experienced Internal Engagement & Communications Manager to lead employee engagement initiatives across SYNLAB UK & Ireland.
This pivotal role will help shape the experience of colleagues during a time of significant transformation, including organisational change, TUPE integration, and strategic growth.
The postholder will lead and implement employee engagement initiatives that support organisational transformation, TUPE processes, and reward & recognition campaigns, with a focus on SYNLAB's operations in Essex and Manchester.
Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
Lead the design and delivery of internal communication and engagement plans aligned with SYNLAB's five-year strategy.
Support transformation initiatives, including TUPE onboarding of staff in Essex and the expansion of services with The Christie Pathology Partnership in Manchester.
Develop and execute communication strategies around employee reward, recognition, consultation, and engagement activities.
Collaborate with HR, transformation teams, clinical leads, and partner Trusts to ensure consistent, tailored messaging.
Serve as a DEI ambassador and role model for SYNLAB's values and behaviours.
Deliver high-quality communications content - from executive messaging to intranet articles and campaign assets.
