, 37.5 hours per week (incl. regular evenings and some weekends)

Salary : 30,000 - 33,000 per annum

We're looking for an Engagement Co-ordinator - Youth Sector to join our team and support the delivery of The ExodUS Programme, a youth engagement initiative funded by the Youth Endowment Fund (YEF). Your role will focus on young people building strong relationships with families, and ensuring participants have a safe, supported, and meaningful experience.

About the Role



As the Engagement Co-ordinator, you will lead on the recruitment and onboarding of young people into The Exodus Programme, while also managing the involvement of Peer Researchers. Acting as a key point of contact for families, young people, and delivery partners (including Coram), you'll help ensure every aspect of the programme is welcoming, inclusive, and trauma-informed.

This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role with phonecall volume as the forefront of the role - perfect for someone who wants to make a difference through direct youth & community engagement, well-organised, values-led coordination.

Key Requirements:



??Lead end-to-end recruitment of young people into The Exodus Programme, from outreach and referral to onboarding and placement. ??Communicate clearly and compassionately with families and participants throughout their journey. Line Manage and Coordinate a team of Junior Peer Mentors (Peer Researchers) : manage availability, scheduling, briefings, debriefings, and training support. CRM systems, tracking engagement, attendance, and outcomes. ??Collaborate with external partners, including Coram, to support training, data sharing, and programme evaluation. ??Monitor ongoing participation and raise any issues or safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately. ??Produce regular recruitment and engagement reports for internal and external stakeholders. ??Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes. ??Work closely with facilitators and programme staff to ensure smooth delivery and participant experience.

Experience (Required):



??Has strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially with young people and families. ??Has at least 2 years experience in administration within the youth work, education, social care, or community sector. ??Understands safeguarding and trauma-informed practice. ??Is highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure. ??Is confident using spreadsheets and CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms. ??Works well independently and as part of a collaborative, cross-functional team. ??Has experience coordinating projects and/or programmes ??Maintain accurate records and data using spreadsheets and Has experience coordinating / line-managing volunteers, sessional staff, and/or peer-led groups (desirable). Additional Information



This role includes regular evening and weekend work to meet the needs of participants and families. Training in motivational interviewing, trauma-informed engagement, or youth participation will be provided if not already held.
