About the Role:





We're looking for an experienced Engagement BusinessLead to build an external Engagement function within our Marketing and Engagement division. You will be responsible forleading a high performing team to deliver an engagement strategyand offer channels that provide best-in-class support for colleaguesacross the market oversight directorate.

The role criteria:





Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, public affairs, and communications within a regulatory, public sector, or financial services environment.


Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to provide constructive challenge and build trust and credibility at all levels.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex issues into clear engagement plans.


Experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Demonstratable experience in managing or overseeing event planning teams and external-facing event programmes.


Proven experience in managing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources and delivering optimum value for money.


Experience in developing and managing processes to capture and translate industry feedback into strategic recommendations for internal decision-making and policy development. Experience in overseeing or managing a stakeholder or relationship management system, with a focus on data quality, user adoption, and strategic reporting.
