40,000-50,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00-15:00, with flexibility for projects and absences

We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our team and keep our food manufacturing site running at its best. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy problem-solving and take pride in being part of a team that delivers every day, this role could be for you.

What You'll Do

Carry out day-to-day maintenance (reactive and planned) on a wide range of food manufacturing machinery and equipment. Work closely with production teams to keep lines moving and reduce downtime. Plan and support routine servicing, helping everyone stay ahead of breakdowns. Share your knowledge and build team expertise by keeping accurate records. Liaise with contractors, ensuring safety and smooth communication. Install new equipment and assist with upgrades or overhauls of existing machinery. Fault find, test, repair and adjust equipment to keep standards high. Support wider site facilities when needed. Contribute to safety reviews, audits, and continuous improvement discussions.

What You'll Need:

Strong electrical and mechanical skills with qualifications at minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent). 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification. PLC Qualification or experience.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

IOSH/NEBOSH qualification. Forklift, scissor lift, or electrical pump truck licences. Experience with ammonia plant systems. Ability to write risk assessments and method statements.
