Role Summary:



Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.

The Engineering Administrator will support the Engineering Department in the completion of key administrative tasks and ensure the efficient day-to-day running of department processes. Working closely with engineers, this role supports project delivery and plays a vital part in achieving departmental KPIs. The position is based at our Wrexham facilities on the Wrexham Industrial Estate.

The employee will willingly undertake, upon request, any other task they are able to perform. Elements of the role may vary as new technology, procedures and equipment are introduced.

Key Responsibilities:



Create and maintain manufacturing route cards and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Manage and update the production control system/ERP

Administer Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) and Process Change Notes (PCNs)

Raise purchase orders and maintain procurement databases

Generate and manage digital engineering files

Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases

Attend new part meetings in collaboration with the designated Lead Engineer

Interpret engineering drawings and produce inspection reports/data entry

Carry out general administrative and office support tasks

Assist with cost estimation and cost review processes

Support the Engineering Team in achieving key department KPIs, including:

o OTIF (On Time In Full)

o Right First Time (Dimensional)

o Right First Time (Metallurgical)

Person Specification:



Strong administrative experience, ideally in a technical or engineering environment

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent organisation and communication skills

Ability to interpret engineering documentation and technical drawings

High attention to detail and strong data entry skills

Ability to work across multiple sites and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Essential and Desired Qualifications:



Previous experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Experience within manufacturing or engineering industries

Familiarity with lean principles or continuous improvement

Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths - Essential

Further education or training in administration or engineering support - Desirable

Package on offer:



Salary: 27000-28000

Pension: 5% min personal contribution, Company contribution of 3%

Annual Leave: 25 days plus 8 BH (Pro-rata)

Life Insurance: 2 x annual salary Death in Service
