As a Business Transformation intern within Engineering, AI and Data, you will join our Operations, Industry and Domain Solutions (OIDS) team.
OIDS is the home of industry in Consulting. As a practitioner in OIDS, you'll work with diverse teams to help transform the way our clients operate, including for some of the largest public sector bodies, investment institutions and financial organisations, and leading private sector businesses.

In OIDS, we combine our knowledge of industry with the application of leading tools and capability led solutions to advise clients on how to drive growth, improve operations and reduce costs. We support our clients to design and implement major transformation programmes that resolve the most fundamental issues affecting businesses today - we use a combination of client workshops and interviews, data collection and analysis, and strategic design approaches to identify their key business challenges and the solutions needed.
What skills and academic qualifications do I need?
You must be in the penultimate year of your course, or going on to a master's, and you need to be on track to achieve a predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above in any discipline and you must be graduating by September 2027.

What kind of work will I do?
Joining OIDS, you would be an integral part of a team leading our client's transformation by:
Defining and realising new operational and digital strategies
Reimagining operational processes and ways of working
Being the driving force of progress on large scale technology implementations
Designing and delivering solutions (both operational and digital) to some of their most complex challenges
Developing and implementing new technologies
Developing new ways for clients to engage with their customers
Gaining valuable industry and vendor training and certifications
Staying ahead of market disrupters through market analysis and insight development
On a day-to-day basis you could be contributing to the team by:
Collecting and analysing data
Producing and managing high quality presentations
Applying core consulting and project management skills, driving innovation with new software and ways of working
Showing your professionalism and building rapport with clients
Developing your experience through exposure to new business design approaches, ways of working, and cutting-edge technologies approaches, ways of working, and cutting-edge technologies
Where will I work?
At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you're in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
