About The Role

We are currently recruiting for an Engineering CMMS / Stores Lead for our Alconbury site! We are looking for a passionate and driven engineering professional who has experience working with computerised maintenance management systems.



This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within Engineering - with a lot of opportunity to develop on offer from the Engineering team for the successful candidate.

You will:

Plan, prepare, and coordinate maintenance tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Facilities teams to optimize maintenance strategies, maximize equipment availability, and support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Use CMMS tools to deliver effective maintenance planning, reporting, and cost transparency to support site reliability and management decisions. Oversee critical engineering stores activities, ensuring parts availability through direct action or 3rd party management.

About You

We are looking for someone with a great attitude and a passion to develop themselves. We will offer both personal and professional development but some experience or knowledge in any of the following would be a great start:
Engineering Planning experience within a FMCG / food manufacturing company. Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the Engineering Department. Able to demonstrate excellent analytical, planning, problem solving and organising skills. Able to show strong communication skills as well as working collaboratively and showing passion and enthusiasm. Relevant experience planning, scheduling, and auditing maintenance activities either as a hands-on engineer or as a maintenance planner. Experience with CMMS software/Microsoft office packages.
