Job Title: Engineering Coordinator


Location: Gillingham, Kent


Salary: 25,000 - 28,000


Hours: Full Time, Permanent, Monday Friday, 08:30am 17:00pm


Senseco Systems Ltd is a leading specialist in fire and life safety systems. We are looking for an organised and proactive Engineering Coordinator to join our busy Projects team. In this role, youll be key to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department - managing engineer diaries, planning and scheduling work, coordinating resources, and supporting both operational and financial performance.


This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing, forward-thinking company within a critical industry that protects lives and property.

Support the projects team in processing jobs, ensuring figures are met to successfully pursue all departmental targets set by the Head of Projects.

What You'll Be Doing



Scheduling new project work and managing priorities Maintaining and updating the department diary, managing cancellations or changes Coordinating engineer availability, skillsets, and overtime Reviewing daily schedules to ensure efficient use of resources Booking appointments and supporting engineers with day-to-day operational needs Working closely with the Head of Projects, Project Managers, and wider admin team to deliver works within KPIs and deadlines Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and manage costs Collating and submitting weekly timesheets and expenses Handling general administration, data entry, and customer enquiries (email/phone) Supporting the Projects team in delivering departmental targets



What You'll Bring



Excellent communication skills written and verbal Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail Experience in a coordination, scheduling, or customer service role Commercial awareness and ability to prioritise effectively Team player, flexible and able to work independently when needed Resilient and adaptable under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Willingness to learn industry-specific legal and regulatory requirements (knowledge of the fire industry is an advantage but not essential) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with colleagues across all levels
