About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Key Account Manager to join our team in a full-time, office-based role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to transition into a commercial or managerial position, or for a manager with a background in engineering who thrives in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage customer quotations accurately and efficiently

Act as the primary point of contact for key customers, providing exceptional service and communication

Liaise with customers to understand requirements and resolve any technical or commercial issues

Monitor production schedules to ensure orders are delivered on time and to specification

Work closely with the engineering, production, and sales teams to coordinate project activity

Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and identify opportunities for growth

What We're Looking For

Engineering background (either hands-on or academic)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Organised and detail-focused approach to work

Comfortable in a customer-facing role and working in a fast-paced environment

Good commercial awareness and problem-solving ability

Previous experience in quoting, sales, account management, or production planning is an advantage, but not essential

Ideal Candidate

A practical engineer ready to transition to an office/commercial role

Or a manager with engineering knowledge who enjoys engaging with clients and coordinating projects
