Job Summary

Due to growth we are looking for an Engineering Manager of our Dental Equipment servicing department. Based from home with easy access to our West Midlands office as required. This is a hands on role for an experienced engineer to work for a leading and respected service brand. To be considered the candidate will need to have

dental equipment service experience

, wider engineering stock control experience and

people management

.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and grow a dental engineering team operating nationally Manage a service / maintenance training schedule for new and existing dental equipment. Provide dental clinical staff with appropriate advice. Work hands on alongside the dental engineering team and provide them with the benefit of their experience. Work on the recruitment of new engineers. Control van stocks and wider stocks of service equipment and tools to drive efficiency. Work closely alongside the sale teams.

Knowledge

Knowledge / Experience of dental room equipment such as chairs, vaccum, water, autoclaves and electrical systems. Sufficient experience to be able to help the commerical team with quotations An understanding of stock control Experience in engineering people management Knowledge of ISO systems such as 9001, 13485, 14001 Great communication skills

Package

The role is field based with regular visits to the West Midlands office. The successful candidate with be provided with all the IT equipment, Testing Equipment and Tools required to do the job.

Basic Salary 45000 to 50000 pa DOE Company Van or Hybrid Car 23 days holiday No weekend working Banded Uniform Pension and Life Insurance
