THG LABS offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We now have over 400 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge, Frome and Radstock - including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 98,000 square foot ever-developing manufacturing site.

We are now searching for positive and pro-active Engineering Manager to join our fast-paced Engineering team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-4.30pm

Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Projects & Engineering, the Engineering Manager will oversee the delivery of both reactive and preventive maintenance, ensuring minimal impact on production demand. This role is central to driving continuous improvement, managing asset care systems, and optimising team performance through strong leadership and effective scheduling.

The successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining high standards in safety, compliance, and operational excellence while fostering collaboration and developing team capability.

Role Requirements

Proven experience in engineering management within a manufacturing or operational environment. Strong knowledge of asset care, preventive maintenance, and condition-based monitoring. Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and develop technical teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively. Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
