Who do we need, and why?
Our Engineering team enables Codat to consistently build and launch innovative and useful solutions for our clients.
This role will be to lead a squad of 4-6 Engineers, we are looking for a passionate people leader, who is able to motivate and mentor their team and help guide them to success. As well someone who still fundamentally cares about technology and shipping great products that will delight clients.
What you'll bring to the team
Natural people leadership- you care about the success of your team and want to help them develop and grow and regularly product high quality results
Start-up mindset- As a start-up its important that this person wants to help us deliver at pace and has the attitude to get things done
Experience managing performance review cycles, running 1-2-1's and providing support and feedback to your team
Product minded- Ideally you'll have experience building b2b saas products but we want someone who thinks about how to build great products.
Collaborative- you know how to bring people from other teams together to create success.
Strong technical skills- We're not expecting someone to write code (unless they want to) but we are looking for someone who still keeps up to date with advancements and best practices in development and has a strong understanding of architecture.
Experience across our tech stack- We use C#.net in the backend and React/Typescript in the front. We use Azure for our cloud services and a range of other modern tools as part of our tech stack. We are open to programming experience but a close suit would be a benefit for this role.
