Salary: 70,000-75,000 + 10% bonus

The Role
In this key site leadership Engineering Manager position, you will be responsible for the engineering function, ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all plant, equipment, and systems.
Engineering Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, support, and develop a multi-skilled engineering team
  • Own the preventative maintenance (PPM) strategy and ensure effective execution
  • Manage departmental budgets and deliver cost control
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across equipment, processes, and performance
  • Plan and deliver Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects
  • Monitor and achieve site KPI targets
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities while managing key internal stakeholders
Skills & Experience Required
  • Recognised engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
  • Background in FMCG, automated, or high-speed manufacturing environments
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering leadership or people management
  • Strong understanding of maintenance strategy and process improvement methodologies
