Web3 Engineering Manager & Tech Lead

to lead the architecture, development, and scaling of decentralized applications and blockchain infrastructure. This hybrid role demands a unique blend of technical leadership and people management, ideally suited for someone passionate about building in the evolving Web3 space.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.) Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns Collaborate with marketing and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, TV etc.) Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned Design and implement successful marketing campaigns Set up tracking systems for online marketing activities Track progress with Marketing Managers and/or Marketing Specialists Identify and analyze competitors Prepare reports by collecting and analyzing sales data Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials Organize promotional activities for new products/services

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role. Deep expertise in blockchain technologies including smart contract development (Solidity, Vyper), Ethereum (or other EVM-compatible chains), and DeFi protocols. Proficiency with development tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, or Truffle; and familiarity with off-chain integrations via oracles and APIs. Strong programming skills in TypeScript, Rust, or Go. Solid grasp of distributed systems, consensus algorithms, and cryptographic principles. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP). Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Proven ability to lead teams through ambiguity and deliver robust solutions in fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

Contributions to open-source blockchain projects. Experience leading remote or globally distributed engineering teams. * Familiarity with zero-knowledge proofs, cross-chain interoperability, or wallet infrastructure.
